: just 10 minutes from Montepulciano, Podere Lamberto lies on the ridge
between Val d’Orcia and Val di Chiana. Pienza, a pearl of
history and architecture, is just 15 km away. It takes about half an hour from
Podere Lamberto to Bagno Vignoni, Montalcino, Cetona
and a little bit more to the foot of Monte Amiata. Siena and Perugia
are about 60 Km away from here; it takes about an hour from here to Florence
and an hour and a half to Rome.
We
are in the very heart of the Etruscan civilization : we suggest a visit to
several archeological sites and museums nearby.
About
thermal waters you have too much to choose from : Chianciano and Sant’Albino are
just few km away, Bagno Vignoni and Bagni San Filippo about 25 km
If you like montain bike
or trekking there are signed paths that go along our farm; you can choose among
short, medium or long routes with the help of maps that we will give you.
