How to
reach the house
From the nord
From the A1 auotostrada exit at the valdichiana , outside the
tollgate to the left the direction for Montepulciano is 18 km .
Through two small centres : Bettolle and Torrita di Siena . At 1 km
from Montepulciano taking as reference the Esso petrol station on
your left . After the 30 metres on the right a small road with a
sign for Fattoria della Talosa / via delle Pietrose . After 200
metres on the left is found the sign "Poggio Pietrose" and an uphill
excavated road.

From the south
From the A1 auotostrada exit at the Chiusi Chianciano Terme and
follow the signs for Chianciano, follow the direction for
Montepulciano. Arriving at Montepulciano
( Piazza S. Agnese) follow the direction for Valdichiana , pass the
church Madonna delle Grazie , after 100 metres on the left is found
a small road with a sign Fattoria della Talosa / via delle Pietrose
. After 200 metres on the left is found the sign "Poggio Pietrose"
and an uphill excavated road.

Poggio Pietro is about 2 Km from Montepulciano
. On foot it is pleasant walk: after 300 metres the contry road
arrives at the provincial road , to the left of which is found
the pedestrian way that in 10 minutes the church of Sant ' Agnese
can be reached and from there all of the historical centre.
At the entrance to the provincial road , on the right , is the
church of Santa Maria delle Grazie that , is in itself of great
artistic value , possessing inside a altar Della Robbia and a
Renaissance organ of cypress wood .
In front of the church's large square is situated a bus stop for the
bus that goes to the historical centre.
Going by can one car park in the Sant ' Agnese square or the two
adjacent car park (one of which is a paid) the one can go on foot or
with the bus.
From Montepulciano it is very easy to move around and reach the
centres of the most interesting cities of central Italy :Bagno
Vignoni, Pienza, Montalcino, Siena, Arezzo, Florence ,Perugia
