Poggio Pietrose is a holiday house situated on a small hill, due to its low height, in Tuscan it is known as "poggio". It is in a silent enviroment, indipendent and isolated, situated in the area of Vino Nobile production, surrounded by plants of various types, of olives and vines , cheered up  by flowers that vary according to the season. The surronding area is beautiful: found in front of the Temple of San Biagio , the magnificent work of Antonio Sangallo the Older ( Florence 1453- 1534), on the shoulder  of which rises the panorama of Montepulciano.
Exiting from the large square in front of the house, to the left can be seen the Val di Chiana.
From her one can already note the difference between the two valleys : very natural the first ( sanctioned by UNESCO as human patrimony ) and , to the contrary rich in towns, lights and industry the second. Behind the house is found a extremely relaxing nature : large spaces and country farmhouses spread in a gentle valley which is at the base of Mt. Amiata .

Glorious sunsets light up the sky of Montefollonico and delicate sunrise redden opposite part to compliment this idyllic picture.
The house is modern construction, well looked after , on one floor , with a large terrace above .The furnishings are simple but functional: from the front door one enters into a room sub- divided into a dining area and living area , complete with functioning fireplace. Through a detachment one passes into a habitable kitchen furnished with a gas stove with oven , fridge , washing mashine.
Between the two parts there is a bathroom with a shower recess. The kitchen as well has a door that and leads to outside and from here one immediately sees San Biagio.From the kitchen there is access to the bedroom furnished with original forniture from the early 1900's of farmer style , signed by the maker on the bed head.

From the bedroom there is a large door that opens into the back of the house where there is a green lawn with a lime tree that gives shade and parfume .
Still at the back , on the right of the bulding , there is a solar shower that in the summer days is refreshing and pleasant. As well there is a fitted table and two deck chairs that allow one to relax and have the possibility to dedicated oneself to enjoying the sun.
All of this enjoyed in the panorama described previously.
A small outside oven allows meant and other foods to be grilled . Also in front of the house there is a table, a garden seat and various chairs. The place itself allows pleasant walks, ,jogging and excursions on foot in the small nearby centres of Montefollonico. The house is for two people , but has a divan bed , that can also put up a child . Pets are welcome .
Poggio Pietrose can be rented all year by the week ( from saturday to saturday) or for shorter periods ( long weekends:for at least two night) in the low season.
Heating , is not included in the price and is for consummation.
