In the

heart of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano country, the Agriturismo della Sant’Agnese ( owned by the Fanetti family – a historic name in the history of Tuscan wine ) offers guests relaxing, revitalising holidays in the country.

Podere San Giuseppe, an old farmhouse, has been carefully divided into four apartments, each of which has beencompletely refurbished.

Their names are takenfrom different grape varieties. Each apartment has been beautifully furnished with romantic wrought iron double beds and furniture dating back to the 19 Century. Bathrooms and kitchen are spacious and typical of Tuscan houses.

The farmhouse is surrounded by a picturesque garden, complete with a beautiful swimming pool and barbecue equipment. You can spend whole days in the fresh air wandering or mountain-biking around the estate.

Of course the vineyard’s cellar is open for guided tours which will offer you the chance to taste some of the area’s most highly-regarded wines.

The Fanetti family has an important role in the history of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano ever since Cavalier Adamo Fanetti founded the company in 1921. He succeded in restoring the area’s wine -making tradition to its former position of glory and indeed, was the first producer of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano. Today the vineyards sread over 112 hectares.
